Babys Christening

We had his Christening on Sunday, both both wore shirts and waistcoats and looked very handsome.  He didn't like the water on his head very much but soon recovered.

The eldest can now count to 10 by himself and says more and more each day.  Baby can crawl properly on carpet now but still does his own unique 1 knee 1 foot shuffle on the laminate!

Stayed home!

Well this week we have mostly been at home due to the rubbish weather, we did make it out to a new toddler group which they enjoyed and we also visited my niece and her new baby girl, but other than that we have been at home.

The boys have enjoyed it though as we have dug out some old toys so they have had new stuff to play with.  Baby has 6 teeth now and still isn't crawling but does drag himself around so he gets where he wants to.

I have finished MIL's christmas present, a knitted cardigan, will add a picture later, and have found a fab pattern for a reindeer hat that i will knit up and hope one of them wears it!

Ishies........

The eldest loves (LOVES) the aquarium so we took them again yesterday for a couple of hours.  This was the first time the baby has really paid an interest in the fish and he loves them too, so much so that he cried every time we walked away from a tank!

Toddler tornado loves running free in there and looking at all the different fish, i just wish they would put a marine or tropical tank in there to add some colour.

In other news, the baby has cut his 4th tooth this week and is almost crawling, he is trying so hard bless him, but just can't quite get there at the moment.  I'm sure at some point in the next few days he will be away though.............god help us lol!

Meeting Thomas the Tank Engine

So yesterday (Sunday) we went to Paignton to meet Thomas the Tank and his friends.  Biggest boy has been a bit poorly all week with a high temperature so we weren't sure we were going to make it but he was fine so off we went.

We drove to Paignton then caught the train to Kingsweir where we had a ride on Thomas, met the Fat Controller and big boy even got to give Thomas a drink of water from a bucket (twice, cheeky boy!).  Both the boys were good as gold all day, as usual making us very proud parents.  The eldest (and Grandad) loved being on the trains and must of said "choo choo" a thousand times!

A Bit of Background

My name is Rachel, I am married to Rich and we have two amazing little boys who are only 16 months apart in age.  We also have a cat, Lily, who the boys adore but she doesn't feel the same way!

This blog is probably going to be a fair old ramble of our day trips, achievements and life in general as the boys get older and we plod along in our happy little way........
